Blog Entry10 things to be happy about, and then some...Mar 12, '08 12:28 AM
for everyone
Things have been pretty rough these past few days and while I wanted to find time to do this meme, I usually end up falling alseep on top of my laptop, or get preoccupied with other things. So while I'm taking a break from the usual everyday hoopla, I got enough tricks to answer at least some of them. Thanks for the tags Jovan and Mara.

10 things to be happy about (in no particular order)

01. Taking back an investment that turns out to be more than a pain. Was wondering why I never did it earlier, but now that I did, I realized that it was the right thing to do. Now to start collecting what is due.

02. The fact that it's already March makes me glad primarily because there is an unbelievable financial struggle during the months of January and February. While the expenses aren't as much as during December, Christmas bonuses were there to at least buffer for them.

03. God of War rocks! And yes, you can call me a late bloomer, but this game is awesome. Can't wait for the third installment, and I still have high hopes that it will be released in the PS2 platform. Yay!

04. Summer is here, and the good news is that the temperature isn't as hot as it was before. One thing I don't approve is to have my internal organs boiling in their own juices thanks to the extreme heat.

05. General cleaning last weekend, and I found some stuff that I thought I lost for quite some time already.

06. While the pressures of work have been harder to handle, I'm just extatic that I still survive. It sure beats the hours of lull time before.

07. Finding Allan's Grill in Cubao Expo two weekends ago, which arguably is the best resto/bar that I've been in that's just in the vicinity of my place. Having beers and sisig there with some close friends even made the experience even more enjoyable. This should count as two, really.

08. Currently, Eli Stone, Survivor Micronesia and American Idol are the only shows that preoccupy my life outside the four corners of the office. I can hear everyone say bleck to at least two and see an inquisitive look for the other, but hey, I'm really thankful for these TV shows that keep me sane. With the return of some shows starting next month (Yay for Supernatural) everything will be back on track, but for now, thanks Hec for the Sarah Connor Chronicles and Dan for the Entourage eps.

09. Bowling also keeps me sane and brings the fun back on track, or should I say the lanes, but lately that has not been the case. Of course, enough about the "non-fun" stuff. Bowling is still fun with the people who know how to have fun. 'Nuff said.

10. My balikbayan box from the states is arriving. Weeeeeee............

Amanda and Parvati have James and Ozzy on the palm of their hands... Ozzy shouldn't have told them he got the Hidden Immunity Idol... He should just play smart and lie low. Let Penner and Cirie call the shots first, like what he did with Yul two seasons ago...

Oh... Ramiele Maulbay and David Archuleta are my final two bets...

I can feel Nic's eyes rolling...
